Eligibility for Admission to the Course :
A candidate shall be admitted to the B.Ed degree examinations conducted by Pondicherry University (Central University), Puducherry, only if he/ she has undergone the course of the study satisfactory and having put it not less than 90% of overall attendance.

(C) PRACTICAL EXAMINATION:

The Practical Examination will be conducted for TWO DAYS: Examining / Assessing the teaching competency of all the candidates on first day in a recognised High / Higher Secondary school and the records and the instructional aids on the second day in the college campus.



(D) PASSING MINIMUM

  • Every candidate should register for all the papers in the theory examination and practical examination in the first attempt.
  • A candidate shall be declared to have passed in the B.Ed Degree examination, only if he/she has passed both the theory and practical examination.
  • A candidate shall be declared to have passed the theory examination if he/she obtains not less than 40% in each paper both in External and Internal Examination. (i.e. 30 Marks in External + 10 Marks in Internal).
  • A candidate shall be declared to have passed the practical examination if he/she obtains not less than 40% of marks in teaching competency in each of two optional subjects and not less than 40% marks allotted to other practical work.


(E) CLASSIFICATION OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:

All successful candidates shall be classified separately for theory examination and practical examination as follows.
